what day?
Ideally, you should book the day before you dance.

Do not tan the same day you perform on stage.
what time of day?
Do not do anything after your tan that may get you wet.
​
Schedule so you do not practice for AT LEAST 6 hours after your tan, 8 hours is recommended.
what to wear?
Bring loose, baggy, pajama pants to wear after your tan.

The most important thing is YOU MUST cover your legs after to protect the tan and bronzers.

WHAT TO DO BEFORE YOUR TANNING APPOINTMENT
THE DAY BEFORE
EXFOLIATE
Use a sugar scrub, an exfoliating mitt, or a damp face cloth to exfoliate your legs and focus on your knees as they are commonly very dry.
THE DAY BEFORE
MOISTURIZE
Use a white cream lotion, or cocoa butter lotion to moisturize your legs and put extra on your knees as they are usually dry.

shave
If your daughter shaves, have her shave the day before your appointment, not the same day.
what to wear
Wear bathing suit bottom under your clothes and wear a tank top or tshirt for your appointment. Bring baggy loose cotton/polyester PJ pants for after your appointment.
Make sure the pants do not have lettering or a silky/satin feel as those will mess up the final tan as well.

after care
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS TO WEAR BAGGY PANTS AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT

The tan develops in 6-8 hours so you have to make sure you do not get your skin wet or sweat during that time.
​
Also be prepared for rain/snow as it may be in the forecast. Jackets, extra layers, and umbrellas would be good to have available.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON APPOINTMENT DAY
1. Stop by the restroom immediately before your appointment.
We are located right next to the restrooms for your convenience. We ask all dancers to go immediately before their appointment as you do not want to right after. Bathroom use right after your appointment are the #1 cause of tan mishaps. Please also do not let your daughter over-hydrate one hour before or after your appointment time. Water is not allowed in the tanning room so please plan accordingly.
2. You will drop off your dancer at their appointment time.
It will take 30 minutes to spray your dancer and let her dry off in front of a fan. We will give you the time you can come back for pick up. You can leave and come back or we will have seats available outside of the tanning room if you want to wait.
3. Have over-sized pajama pants for after your appointment.
The second biggest reason for tanning mishaps is liquid spilling on or touching tanned legs right after the appointment. Do not let your daughter walk around with bare legs as mishaps are very likely. To protect the tan- wear loose pants for 6-8 hours after your appointment.

There are no refunds for canceled appointments unless you are not attending the event or you are injured.
